Do you offer any warranties?

All units, parts, and workmanship are covered by a minimum one-year warranty. Coverage of up to ten years is available on systems we install when a planned maintenance program is in place.

Why should I service my air conditioner?

Regular servicing keeps the unit running at peak efficiency, extends its lifetime, and lowers operating costs. It also keeps the system eligible for full warranty coverage.

How often should my air conditioner be maintained?

Cooling-only home units generally need one service per year. Units used year round or in offices should be serviced at least twice a year. Server rooms and high-pollution areas need additional visits.

Can you service a system you didn't install?

Yes. We're happy to quote servicing and repairs on systems we didn't originally install. Just call our service department for an estimate.

How often should the air handler's filter be cleaned?

Most filters need cleaning rather than replacement, typically about twice a year. Heavily used systems or dusty environments may need more frequent cleaning.

Can I do my own maintenance?

Maintenance should always be carried out by a certified air conditioning technician. It's more than cleaning filters, and it requires specialist tools and training.

Can I install an air conditioner myself?

No. Installation must be done by a qualified, HVAC-certified technician. Incorrect installations usually end up costing far more to put right.

Can my air conditioner provide heat as well as cooling?

Yes. Virtually all modern air conditioners provide heating as well as cooling, and they're an efficient, cost-effective way to do it.

Which manufacturers do you install?

We install dependable, high-quality systems from industry-leading manufacturers. We don't deal in budget brands, which we've found to be unreliable and more expensive long term.

When can you install the system?

In most cases we can have a system fully installed within about two weeks of your go-ahead. Lead times can vary with seasonal demand.

How long does an installation take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the job. As a rule of thumb, each individual unit takes roughly one to one-and-a-half days. We give you a time estimate with your quote.

Do you provide free site surveys and quotes?

Yes. All of our quotes and site surveys for new installations are free of charge.

What's included in your quote?

Quotes typically include all equipment and labor required to complete the installation. Any special electrical work is listed separately so there are no surprises.

Do you 'supply only'?

On a case-by-case basis. We generally prefer to install what we supply so we can stand behind the workmanship, but we'll discuss supply-only requests on request.

Who will supervise and manage my installation?

Every install is run by a senior technician who manages the crew and is your single point of contact from start to finish.

Can work be carried out on weekends or out of hours?

Yes. We can schedule installs and major service work on weekends or evenings to fit around your home or business. There may be a small surcharge for after-hours work.

Does my unit need an outside condenser box?

Most central air systems do — the outdoor condenser is where heat is rejected from your home. Ductless mini splits also require an outdoor unit, though it's typically smaller.

How durable and reliable is the equipment you install?

We install systems from major manufacturers that have a strong track record and that are designed for the Florida climate. With routine maintenance, expect 12-15+ years of service life.

Will the system comply with Health & Safety regulations?

Yes. All installs meet local Florida building, electrical, and refrigerant-handling codes, and we pull permits where required.

Are air conditioning systems expensive to operate and maintain?

Modern high-efficiency systems are much cheaper to run than systems from a decade or two ago. Routine maintenance (one or two visits a year) keeps efficiency high and prevents the most common breakdowns.

What kind of maintenance do you provide?

Inspection of refrigerant levels, electrical components, capacitor and contactor wear, coil and condenser cleaning, drainage clearance, thermostat calibration, and filter replacement or cleaning. We document each visit and flag any items that may need attention.

Even though you didn't install my system, can you service and repair it?

Yes. Our technicians work on all major makes and models. Just call and we'll put you on the schedule.
